If you’re not feeling the love this Valentine’s Day, it may be time to celebrate all the undead goodness February is bringing us this year.

This month is shaping up to be a cornucopia of undead body parts. If V-Day makes you yearn for a zombie apocalypse, or at least a good supervillain to throw the world into chaos, then it just so happens that 2016 is your year.

We’ve got zombies! We’ve got ladies in period dresses kicking ass! We’ve got Ryan Reynolds in spandex! What more could you want?

Not everything below is zombie-related (hello, Deadpool), but it’ll sure as hell make your Valentine’s Day more interesting while still honoring your need to see some carnal destruction.

That’s not just me, right? …right?

‘Revenge and the Wild’ by Michelle Modesto — February 2

What’s worse than zombies? Cannibals. They’ll eat you all the same, but there’s something even more terrible about them choosing that life rather than being driven by insatiable blood-lust. Revenge and the Wild sounds like it has a great balance of Western saloon brawls and terrible monsters. Curl up with this book and enjoy a story about a girl who watched her family being eaten before her own arm was chomped off. How touching.

‘Pride + Prejudice + Zombies’ — February 5

PPZ is getting serious buzz for being a great Austen adaptation with the added benefit of also including zombies. It’s not often you see 19th century women wielding a sword and taking on a horde of the undead. Not only does this movie pay homage to Elizabeth Bennet’s standards and convictions, it’s also a great action movie that proves the ladies are just as capable of taking care of business as the fellas. (Read our review.)

‘Deadpool’ — February 12

Yeah, he’s not a zombie, but he’s got the word dead in his name and he also spends plenty of time killing people. So… close enough. The anticipation for Deadpool is “I’m touching myself tonight” levels of palpable, and the amazing marketing campaign is making it easy to get our hopes pretty high for the latest superhero movie. This one promises plenty of laughs and tons of bloodshed. Perfect!

‘The Walking Dead’ — February 14

Valentine’s Day will be marred by the TWD premiere, which always gifts us with nail (and flesh) biting moments. This year sees the introduction of Negan, who may just be Rick & Co.’s greatest enemy yet. Sure, the walkers will be ever-present, but Negan may be the final downfall of some of our favorites heroes.

‘Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2’ — February 23

That’s right, folks, we even have more animated zombies to look forward to! This one is bringing us six new plants and zombies, as well as a new mode called Herbal Assault that allows you to play with a whopping 23 other people. There are a lot of new ways to play, so you can work on defeating those zombies all day, every day.

But wait, there’s more!

Don’t let the end of February stop you from enjoying your morbid fascination with all of this brutality. Fear the Walking Dead season 2 drops in April, The Burning World by Isaac Marion will be out in August, and Patient Zero starring Matt Smith, Natalie Dormer, and Stanley Tucci will be out in September.

Plus, you can always go back to the oldies-but-goodies like previous seasons of The Walking Dead, Warm Bodies (the book and the movie), or the classic Shaun of the Dead, among many, many others, all while wearing this killer tee from our friends at Look Human:

Have a happy Valentine’s Day!
