Brush up on your Dr. Seuss gang, an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother will feature all the dialogue entirely in rhyme. Also check out a preview for next weeks episode, featuring Bryan Cranston!

In an interview promoting her new movie, Delivery Man with E! Cobie Smulders (Robin on HIMYM) reveals that they just shot an episode wherein all the dialogue rhymes. She tells the website “It’s like every second line is a rhyme. It varies; you gotta watch it!” Because they just shot it, viewers could probably expect the episode to be one of the first of 2014.

This news, coupled with the reintroduction of the Mother last night, might help reinvigorate the fans and viewers who have been lagging behind the past few weeks. Admittedly, at this point it almost feels like we are just struggling to get to the finish line but, an entire rhyming episode coming down the pipeline? The writers clearly still have some tricks up their sleeves.

While the Mother has only been in three episodes out of eight so far this season, her presence always seems to improve the episode – we’re no longer invested in the Barney/Robin wedding as much as we’re invested in how Ted and the Mother actually meet for the first time. Seeing his proposal was enough to give us hope that we’re in for a big reward in the episodes to come.

Next week’s episode of How I Met Your Mother, is season 9 episode 9, entitled “Platonish” and marks the return of Bryan Cranston, back to reprise his role as Hammond Druthers, Ted’s ex-boss at the architecture firm he worked at back in season 2. Watch the preview below and let us know what you think!

Based on the video, we know we’ll at least see a few scenes based in the bar, and much of the gang seems to be up to their old hijinks.
