Let the games begin on UnReal season 2, episode 2. As Quinn and company begin filming the first episode for Everlasting, tensions rise and the claws come out as the ladies meet Darius for the first time.

Quinn is back in fine form as the struggle for control of Everlasting begins. Chet has specific ideas about how he wants Everlasting to evolve while Quinn is determined to keep what works. Rachel is caught in the middle as she completely loses control of the show to Quinn.

Chet challenges Quinn to tape separate shows and see which one the network prefers. Meanwhile, Jeremy jumps ship to join Team Man Child with Chet. Rachel is sent back to do the dirty work of stirring the pot between the girls, and let’s face it, she is really good at it.

Rachel is dealing with more than just her demotion, as her mom sent her a care package that included large quantities of prescription drugs. What says love more than a mom sending her daughter enough medication to stun a horse?

Chet definitely figures out how to play dirty by stealing one of Quinn’s wifeys and setting her on a path of self-destruction. Tiffany finds Romeo and decides that he’s her ticket out, via some interesting work on her knees, until Rachel is sent in to fix it.

In the ultimate act of betrayal, Quinn tells Rachel she is too crazy to be the boss, leaving Rachel confused. Jay’s comments on Quinn being the boss — not Rachel — is just the icing on the crap cake. So the question remains, is Rachel crazy or just a master manipulator?

As for the girls, this season we got some prime time with the wifey and the blifey. Both have potential and played directly into Quinn’s game. Then there was ‘hot Rachel,’ who conspires with Madison to get alone time with Darius. Madison could become the new Rachel if she continues down this path. Then, of course, there was the racist, who actually really likes Darius and is embarrassed to be wearing her confederate flag bikini. Last was the blacktivist who tried to tone down who she was to play the game, but in the end being herself is what got her through to the next round.

This episode of UnReal definitely raised the stakes as Quinn and Chet faced off and Rachel betrayed them both in the end to the network head, Gary. Rachel tries to convince Gary to send both Quinn and Chet home, but it backfires when Gary decides to bring in someone else to run the show. Coleman wants to follow what Chet has been working on, which sets next week up to be the ultimate showdown between guys and girls. The guys should fear for their lives.

Chet and the boys better be ready because Quinn will not be pushed aside so easily and Rachel seems poised to continue to manipulate everyone around her.

UnReal season 2, episode 3, “Mother,” airs Monday, June 20 at 10:00 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
