Netflix’s latest original series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is an unbreakable hit, thanks in part to two unforgettable songs.

When we first watched Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, we immediately fell in love with the show’s theme song by viral song creators The Gregory Brothers. The song is a remix of a local news interview with Walter Bankston, who witnessed the Mole Women get rescued from their underground bunker. Internet-savvy viewers know the theme is a play on the remix of Antoine Dodson’s memorable “hide yo kids, hide yo wife” interview (the viral version is also by The Gregory Brothers):

A second version of the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt theme song was stitched together by a Tumblr user who took the tune from different parts of the series to create one extended version:

As if that song wasn’t good enough for a freshman series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt character Tituss Burgess performed an instant classic called “Peeno Noir” (or “Pinot Noir,” for those who don’t get the reference) in episode 6, “Kimmy Goes to School”:

The all-important “Peeno Noir”/”Pinot Noir” lyrics — as Tituss calls it, “an ode to black penis”:

We’ll be listening to these songs again and again as we wait for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt season 2.
