Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj had a highly publicized Twitter “feud” this week. So did lots of other stars. If you’re lost, don’t worry, The Late Late Show With James Corden‘s got you covered.

James Corden is back for another season of The Late Late Show, and the British comedian is truly on form these days!

In his latest episodes, he’s recreated Paula Abdul’s iconic music video “Opposites Attract”, spoken to Laverne Cox about Caitlyn Jenner’s transition, and sung a duet with Kristin Chenoweth.

Last night, Corden took a moment to address a very important issue: Twitter feuds. He sums up the Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift situation, the Drake controversy, and much more:

If you’re not aware of the Minaj/Swift feud (although it’s hard not to be, considering how many times these tweets have been shared!), here’s what happened: MTV released their nominations for this year’s Video Music Awards, and neither of Minaj’s record-breaking videos — “Anaconda” and “Feeling Myself” — were nominated for Video of the Year.

Minaj called out MTV for neglecting her videos, suggesting that if she had been a “different kind” of artist, this wouldn’t have been the case.

“When the ‘other’ girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination,” Minaj claimed, and in a separate tweet explained her frustration: “Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it.”

There are two female artists (out of five) whose videos were nominated for Video of the Year: Beyoncé was nominated for “7/11,” and Taylor Swift was nominated for “Bad Blood” (a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar).

The highly publicized misunderstanding seemed to start when Swift thought she was being called out personally, even though Minaj later explained she was calling out industry racism as a whole.

“I’ve done nothing but love and support you. It’s unlike you to put women against each other,” Swift wrote.

Then, while Minaj and Swift worked to clear up the issue, other celebs got in on the action, starting faux feuds with each other.

Here is the original exchange between Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift:

At least they worked it out!
