Good Twilight fans know that Stephenie Meyer is in the midst of publishing a three-book science fiction series called The Host. The first one was released in 2008 and two more books are planned. In the meantime, a movie version of The Host has been in the works and today the lead actress was revealed.
The Hollywood Reporter learned that Saoirse Ronan will play lead character Melanie Stryder.
Ronan can currently be seen in the film Hanna.
Meyer has been playing an active role in getting The Host turned into a film. We hope it’s a great success!
