Ships this week are lead by Gotham, Doctor Who, The Flash, and more. Every week, ships, A.K.A. relationships, are highlighted on our favorite TV shows. Which were your favorite partners and pairings this week?

Did your favorite ship sail this week, did a new one launch, or did yours sadly sink? If you love shipping, you know the drama that shipping wars bring. Your ships don’t have to be canon for you to love them, and that’s half the fun.

Remember, if we didn’t include your favorite, give a suggestion to the writer who usually covers your fandom in the recap discussion or in the comments below.

‘The Flash’ – All Aboard Baricity

Passengers: Barry Allen and Felicity Smoak

Sunset Cruise: Felicity comes to Central City to see Barry now that he’s awoken from his coma. Despite Iris trying to shove the two of them together, and a sweet farewell kiss, they refuse to be each other’s rebounds in the wake of striking out with the objects of their respective affections, no matter how perfect they are for each other.

Ship Status: The respective captains decided to play it safe and stay in port. The voyage was cancelled before it could leave the harbor. Can we have some emergency repairs please? Call this one the USS Frustration!

‘Once Upon a Time’ – All Aboard Snowing

Passengers: Mary Margaret and David

Sunset Cruise: Mary Margaret has become a hermit since giving birth to Prince Neal, and who can blame her? After losing Emma to Regina’s first curse, and Neal to Zelena moments after birth, it makes sense that she has a bit of an attachment issue. But David knows that it is time to get his lady out of the loft, even if it is only for a quiet stroll in town. Even though David was not responsible for arranging to have Will Scarlet plot a jail break, his plan to ease his wife back into the swing of living was incredibly sweet.

Ship Status: Smooth waters seem to lie ahead as they explore new routes.

‘Gotham’ – All Aboard Edward and Kristen

Passengers: Edward Nygma and Kristen Kringle… who really need a shipper name… Kringma/Ningle?

Sunset Cruise: Oh, how can you not love these two kookie, nerdy kids. They have matching retro glasses, compatible OCD tendencies, and he even re-organized her file room… granted it only freaked her out, but it’s the thought that counts.

Ship Status: We are still in port, on the USS Trying Too Hard. Maybe he should lay off the meeting your family references. Sooner or later Kristen will warm up, even if she sadly just seems annoyed with Nygma at the moment.

‘Doctor Who’ – All Aboard Danny and Clara

Passengers: Danny Pink and Clara Oswald

Sunset Cruise: Sets of phone calls with impassioned statements of “I love you” abounded from both Danny and Clara. On the down side, right after hearing Clara say “I love you!” Danny was apparently struck by a car and killed. On the bright side, if you can call it a bright side, Clara got to hear Danny say “I love you!” in return when she calls him in Missy’s Paradise.

Ship Status: As much as it pains us to say this, unless the Doctor actually rescues someone from death and willingly creates a giant paradox, this ship is truly sunk. Time to say good-bye to Danny.

‘How to Get Away With Murder’ – All Aboard Laurel and Frank

Passengers: Laurel Castillo and Frank Delfino

Sunset Cruise: Thanks to the flash-forwards, we know that these two are much more than a one night stand. In fact, what might have started as Laurel being Frank’s latest law student conquest has obviously developed into something more, at least on his end. So despite Laurel stating that it will never happen again, it’s obvious that it does.

Ship Status: We are sailing on the Cautiously Optimistic and her partner ship the Highly Dysfunctional. Even though these two are willing adults, it doesn’t seem like this might end up being the healthiest of relationships for either of them in Annalise’s screw or be screwed world.

‘The Walking Dead’ – All Aboard Bob and Sasha

Passengers: Bob Stookey and Sasha Williams

Sunset Cruise: We loved these two, especially after Bob overcame his demons and fully integrated into the group. Somebody besides Glen and Maggie needed to find true love. You had to love him looking on the bright side in the zombie apocalypse while stealing a few kisses along the way.

Ship Status: Well this one sunk to the ground. You can’t come back from dead… well, in this world you can, but it’s really not advisable. Fortunately Tyresse doesn’t let us explore that option because it would not have ended well.
