‘The Walking Dead’

Sasha: “He has a camp nearby. He wants us to audition for membership.”

Aaron: “I wish there was another word. Audition makes us sound like we’re some sort of dance troupe…That’s only on Friday nights. It’s not a camp it’s a community. I think you all would make valuable additions, but it’s not my call. My job is to convince you all to follow me back home…I know. If I were you I wouldn’t go with me either, not until I knew exactly what I was getting into.”

Aaron attempts to explain the virtues of the Alexandria Safe Zone (ASZ) to Rick and company. His self-deprecating humor doesn’t go over well, as he ends up getting punched in the face by Rick, who initially doesn’t believe a word he says.

‘Girls’

Marnie: “You’re so selfish that when we lived together you put the fire extinguisher in your own bedroom so that you could have access to it first.”

Hannah is branching out into the selfless world of teaching. As she readies herself to mold the minds of young writers, Hannah is reminded that she is not always the best at putting the needs of others before her own.

‘Looking’

Owen: “I have 3,300 Tumblr followers..”

Dom: “Isn’t that just for porn?”

Owen: “No, what? It’s not…for..Wait do you not know what a Tumblr is?”

Dom is trying every technological avenue to get news of his Kickstarter campaign out there. While at Patrick’s party, he takes the opportunity to hit up members of the San Francisco tech crowd for some much needed guidance.

On page 2: ‘Agent Carter,’ ‘Glee,’ and ‘Arrow’

‘Agent Carter’

Agent Peggy Carter: “I don’t need Agent Thompson’s approval, or the President’s. I know my value. Anyone else’s opinion doesn’t really matter.”

In Agent Carter’s season finale, Peggy saves the day, and the whole city, because she’s the best. She had help, from Jarvis and from her allies at the SSR, but when they return to the office, a visiting senator gives Thompson all the credit, which he blithely accepts, despite his growing respect for Peggy. Sousa is furious, and asks Peggy how she can stand it, but our girl knows exactly what she’s contributed to the world.

‘Arrow’

Laurel: “You know, it’s hard to remember a time when I was actually in love with you.”

When Laurel finds out the truth about Sara’s murder, she confronts Oliver about his months-long lie. Oliver tries to defend himself, but Laurel is having none of it. This was a betrayal too far for her.

‘Glee’

Spencer: “Look, I know I was a dick before, but I was the wrong kind of dick, and this time I’m being the right kind of dick, and I’m telling you that you can do this!”

After a falling out surrounding the Presidential Fitness Test, Spencer plays tough-love life coach to Roderick and encourages him to climb a rope in an emergency situation, enabling Roderick to prove his fitness and his willingness to be a team player in front of the tyrannical Sue Sylvester. This new friendship is one of Glee’s sweetest ever.

On page 3:’Grey’s Anatomy,’ ‘How to Get Away With Murder,’ and ‘Black Sails’

‘Grey’s Anatomy’

Amelia: “This tumor is fierce, and intimidating, and aggressive…but so am I.”

Amelia’s confidence is shaken when other doctors begin to question whether the right doctor is operating a case as aggressive as Dr. Herman’s tumor. But Amelia proves over the course of her lectures that she is the right Dr. Shepherd for the job.

‘How to Get Away With Murder’

Michaela: “No! Do not look at him. You ruined our lives, don’t you get that? I was supposed to be getting married and I’m not anymore. Ayden called off the wedding because of you. You dragged us into the horror show that is your life and now we’re all screwed forever. So you’re going to tell us the truth. Every horrible secret about that night that you haven’t told anyone. Or I swear to God, I will personally destroy you. Tell us the damn truth, Rebecca. Did you or did you not kill Lila?”

In the season finale, Michaela vents about everything she has lost, and who she wants to blame. The irony is, the students and Annalise destroyed their own lives due to their own ambitions and greed, Rebecca just gave all the dysfunction a push.

‘Black Sails’

Billy: “Flint killed him?”

John Silver: “Yes.”

Billy: “And he’s still captain? How?”

John Silver: “Well after a brief interlude, the men saw what I am hoping you will see. That with the gold still sitting on that beach, he represents our best, perhaps our only chance of retrieving it.”

John Silver tries to explain the ever changing alliances to Billy Bones who can’t believe a murderer has regained the captaincy.
