‘Doctor Who’

Missy: “He’s trapped at the heart of the Dalek Empire. He’s a prisoner of the creatures who hate him most in the universe. Between us and him is everything the deadliest race in all of history can throw at us. We, on the other hand, have a pointy stick.”

Missy sums up for Clara the deplorable state of their weaponry reserves on Skaro. Fighting off the Daleks isn’t going to be easy given what they have: the above mentioned pointy stick.

‘Fear the Walking Dead’

Daniel Salazar: “The man with the blade and the man in the chair are no different. They both suffer. Which one will I be?”

Once again Daniel proves to be the most insightful of our band. He’s the only one, given his life experience, who understands the tough decisions that have to be made, and the cost of those decisions to him personally. He’ll risk losing some respect if it keeps his family alive.

‘Gotham’

Jerome Valeska: “What’s the secret to good comedy? Timing. And what’s courage? Grace under pressure. And who’s the boss? I’m the boss.”

After the Maniax have formally introduced themselves to the city, the question comes up as to who should be the leader. Both Jerome and Greenwood believe they should be the ones in charge, so they decide to play Russian roulette in order to decide. Jerome proves just how worthy he is by taking three turns in a row while asking some very important questions.

On page 2: ‘Once Upon a Time,’ ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ and ‘How to Get Away With Murder’

‘Once Upon a Time’

Emma Swan: “I saved you; now save me. If you can’t save me, do what no one else will willingly do. You are the only one who would get past her feelings and do what is necessary. Destroy me.”

It was essential that Emma make the decision to give up the dagger to someone who could do what no one else would if the time came to put an end to the Dark One. The best person for the job is Regina Mills.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’

Miranda Bailey: “When Webber had this job, it was easier for him. And Hunt had it easier than I do. Do you know why? Because they had me. I need a me. And I believe you can be a me for me. I need you to be my me.”

Miranda Bailey learned that being the woman in charge is no easy task. What she needs more than anything to succeed is a right-hand-man, or in her case, a right-hand-woman. And so, Bailey promotes Meredith Grey to chief of surgery.

‘How to Get Away With Murder’

Annalise Keating: “I did not put my hand on this court’s Bible to be burned at the stake, and especially by a petty, foolish, amateur prosecutor who doesn’t deserve mine or anyone else in this court’s respect.”

The usually in control Annalise finally loses it on the witness stand when the prosecuting attorney treats her as a hostile witness. The question is how do these two go from courtroom adversaries to lying covered in blood on a floor as the flash-forwards suggest?

On page 3: ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,’ and ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Coulson: “Mack, you should head downstairs. Assist Skye with intake.”

Mack: “Daisy.”

Coulson: “Daisy! Dammit! Hard for us to get used to, huh?

Mack and Hunter: “Nope, just you.”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. went meta to address Daisy’s — formerly Skye — name change.

‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’

Jake: “We broke a rule.”

Amy: “Yeah, we broke a rule. Hope it wasn’t a mistake.”

Jake: “‘Hope it wasn’t a mistake,’ the title of your sex tape. (gasp) The title of OUR sex tape!”

After setting a few rules for keeping their relationship ‘light and breezy,’ Jake and Amy quickly break the first one, and Jake has an epiphany about his usual “title of your sex tape” comeback.
