True Blood will premiere on June 10, and it will be Alan Ball’s last season as showrunner. Mark Hudis is no stranger to the show, working on True Blood for the last two seasons.

From Deadline:

True Blood co-executive producer Mark Hudis will take the reins of the hit HBO vampire drama if it gets renewed for a sixth season. With True Bloodcreator/executive producer Alan Ball stepping down as showrunner at the end of the upcoming fifth season, Hudis would be upped to executive producer/showrunner for Season 6 as part of an overall deal he has signed with HBO.

Do you think Alan Ball leaving as showrunner will change the series? Will True Blood even be renewed for a sixth season?
