Seven seasons of vampires, werewolves, faeries, and endless other supernatural creatures all led to tonight’s episode of True Blood season 7 titled “Thank You.”

True Blood season 7, episode 10 is the grand finale for the vampire drama which has been gracing our television screens since September 2008 (before it became a summer staple). While season 7 has been bringing back several characters, so that many characters get one last appearance (like Hoyt and Niall), this season has taken on a unique life of its own.

As for what’s going to happen in the True Blood season/series finale tonight… that’s anyone’s guess. It looks like Sookie is on the verge of bringing calm to Bon Temps whether or not Bill lives or dies. If he does pass, hopefully she’ll find a new family in Arlene and company. Or, Sookie could get with Eric.

Many viewers, including Hypable’s team, are less-than-thrilled with how this season has played out. While the first half felt pretty strong, the back half has faltered. Where’s the sense of urgency? Where are the compelling storylines with dangerous, unique antagonists?

All promotional material for True Blood season 7, episode 10 “Thank You” has been keeping plot twists close to the vest. For example, the synopsis cryptically reads, “Sookie (Anna Paquin) weighs a future with and without Bill (Stephen Moyer). Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) struggle with their uncomfortable partnership with Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee). Sam (Sam Trammell) makes a choice, while Andy (Chris Bauer) comes upon an unexpected inheritance.”

A video clip shows Sookie and the Reverend reflecting on how things have changed so quickly over the past few years due to vampires:

Meanwhile, four episodic stills show Sookie in two nice dresses and Eric getting close to (killing) Sarah.
