Tonight HBO will air True Blood season 7, episode 8, the third to last episode in the series.

True Blood season 7, episode 8 is titled “Almost Home,” which may be a reference to the characters getting close to reaching their end goals.

The synopsis for tonight’s new True Blood episode reads, “With his prey in sight, Eric reconsiders his end-game strategies against Sarah. Sookie puts her life at risk in hopes of saving Bill. Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) urge Reverend Daniels (Gregg Daniel) to join them in their V-fueled search for Tara (Rutina Wesley). Violet (Karolina Wydra) eyes payback against those who betrayed her, while an old love is reborn for others.”

Last week’s episode of True Blood was sex heavy as Bill and Sookie got back to their old ways and Violet showed off her sex dungeon. Meanwhile, Sarah hit rock bottom as she realized she has nowhere to run except for her old stomping grounds. Check out our recap for more details.
