Tonight we hit the halfway point of True Blood’s final season with episode 5 titled “Lost Cause.”

Last Sunday’s episode offered a break from the slew of major deaths, and we even received a nice glimpse of what Hoyt (who was glamoured) is up to with his new life in Alaska.

The synopsis for True Blood season 7, episode 5 reads, “Exhausted from her recent travails, Sookie finds herself the unwilling host of a festive mainstreaming party in Bon Temps. In search of an elusive adversary, Eric and Pam head to Dallas and attend a gala fundraiser. Andy (Chris Bauer) makes a life-changing decision; Jessica and James reach a crossroads; Bill loses himself in remembrance of human days.”

A trailer for tonight’s new True Blood episode shows quite a bit of action, which may not be too big a surprise when the synopsis makes mention of a party and a gala in one episode:

This trailer shows that Willa wants to be set free, and we think Eric will approve of this request since this season is all about goodbyes.

In a clip from the episode we see Bill arriving at Sookie’s home. The latter is upset that a party is happening at her residence without her knowing.
