Tonight HBO will air True Blood season 7, episode 4, titled “Death Is Not The End,” at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific. Here’s what we know so far!

According to the official synopsis for True Blood season 7, episode 4, “In the aftermath of yet another bloodbath, Sam (Sam Trammell), Sookie and Jason find themselves the bearers of bad news in Bon Temps and beyond,” the synopsis reads. “Pam recalls the events that led her and Eric to Shreveport and Fangtasia. Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) get nourishment from unexpected sources. Following a new lead, Sookie enlists a band of vampires and humans to track down the H-Vamps.”

The mention of “yet another bloodbath” is of course in reference to the latest battle between the H-Vamps and Bon Temps residents in which Alcide died. In an interview after the episode aired, the character who plays the wolf character said that he wasn’t surprised that Alcide had to die. He thought it was inevitable ever since he and Sookie got together.

His death, and some interesting comments between Bill and Sookie over the past couple of episodes, suggest that the original True Blood couple are going to get back together. We don’t expect them to suddenly get hitched on tonight’s episode, but we think that over the next few weeks we’re going to see them get back to their old selves. While watching more of their friends and family die.

Four stills from this week’s episode, including the one above, don’t necessarily unveil anything shocking, but we do see that Pam is back in Bon Temps while Lafayette and James continue to flirt with one another.
