HBO has released a sneak peek of True Blood season 6, episode 2 “The Sun” showing how Sookie meets her new love interest, Ben!
In the season 6 premiere of True Blood, fans saw Sookie make a conscious decision to get back her old life and stay out of trouble. Unfortunately, Sookie comes across a wounded man on her way to work.
Sookie tries to keep to her plan and ignore him. But his groans of pain seem to get to her. She can’t help but stop and see if he is okay.
After swearing in frustration, Sookie asks him if he is okay. Although he’s clearly in a lot of pain, he doesn’t want an ambulance called.
Sookie hears him thinking about the scent of his blood before admits to being attacked by a vampire. That’s when she realizes he’s a halfling faerie like her!
The synopsis for True Blood season 6, episode 2 “The Sun” is:
A long-lost relative reveals himself to Jason and Sookie. After Tara is victimized by a new government weapon, Eric takes matters into his own hands in an effort to thwart Burrell’s anti-vampire initiatives. On the road to work, Sookie is drawn to a handsome stranger who shares her faerie abilities. Sam is unnerved by supernatural-rights zealot Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), and is confronted by Alcide and Martha (Dale Dickey) about Emma’s future. Bill contemplates the scope of his heightened powers.
