Like HBO did as they built up to the release of True Blood season 5, for season 6 we’re getting cool behind-the-scenes glimpses into particular scenes.

In this first “On Location” video we see Jason (Ryan Kwanten) confront Eric’s sister Nora (Lucy Griffiths) after she had him in her confines. He wiggles his way out and points a gun at her face. “I am sick of you blood suckers brain raping me against my will,” he tells her before threatening to put a bullet through her chest.

That’s when Sookie (Anna Paquin) steps in and stops him. “If you’re going to put a bullet through Eric’s sister’s chest, it’s going through me first.”

If you look closely, you can see Eric appear in one of the shots in the background. Notably absent is Bill, who we’ll hopefully see in the next behind-the-scenes clip. Watch below:

We can expect more of these behind the scenes looks as we approach True Blood season 6’s June release.

Jason Stackhouse is played by Ryan Kwanten, and in a new interview last week he said that some “favorite characters may not last,” alluding to some big deaths in this ten-episode season.

True Blood season 6 premieres Sunday, June 16 at 9 PM ET/PT on HBO.
