A Forbes entertainment reporter has learned that True Blood creator Alan Ball is to step down from his role as head of the writing staff and instead serve solely as executive prdoucer.

The news comes amid rumors that Ball has become exhausted due to the amount of time he invests in the show.

We’re unsure how much of a change this will bring to True Blood, but with the writers already having five seasons under their belts, AND Charlaine Harris’ source material still available to work with, we doubt much will change.

Thanks to Roger at Forbes.
