Transformers: The Last Knight just dropped its first trailer starring Mark Wahlberg and it looks like it’ll be another cinematic delight.

Yes, the Transformers franchise is still going strong. The fourth installment, Age of Extinction, brought in $100M and became the highest grossing opening of 2014.

Now, anticipation for Transformers 5 is pretty high, and our first major look at the film did not disappoint.

We hear Anthony Hopkins’ character narrating the preview, saying, “It has been said, through the ages, ‘Without sacrifice, there can be no victory.’ Two species at war: One flesh, one metal. Optimus Prime has left us. One hundred million trillion planets in the cosmos — you want to know, don’t you? Why they keep coming here.”

It’s a fair question, especially considering this is the fifth installment in the franchise, and there’s no slowing down. We know Transformers 6 is already in the works, as is a Bumblebee spinoff film.

Joining Wahlberg and Hopkins for Transformers 5 will be Josh Duhamel, Laura Haddock, Isabella Moner, Stanley Tucci and John Turturro. We also know Tyrese Gibson is returning as Sergeant Epps.

The movie opens June 23, 2017.

It’s been 10 years since the first ‘Transformers’ — are you looking forward to ‘The Last Knight’?
