Disney’s D23 Expo starts later today, and we’re expecting to hear lots of new information about their upcoming film slate. Already we have a juicy little tidbit about one of the most anticipated projects, Toy Story 4.

Drumming up excitement for this weekend’s expo, Pixar Creative Head John Lasseter revealed Friday morning that Toy Story 4 will be a love story “centered around Woody and Bo Peep.”

As moviegoers know, the two characters already had a slight romantic fling in the original trilogy, though the soft-talking porcelain figurine wasn’t present in Toy Story 3. According to Woody, Bo Peep was sold or given away.

Speculation time: In Toy Story 4, which is set after the emotional events of Toy Story 3, we guess Woody could realize that he needs Bo Peep back in his life. Perhaps he’ll set out to find her?

We hope Buzz doesn’t get jealous!

Toy Story 4 was announced last November, and at the time Pixar only described it as a romance-driven story. Since then we’ve also heard that the film will focus primarily on the toys, not the humans.

“We love these characters so much; they are like family to us,” said Lasseter in November. “We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before. Toy Story 3 ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie—and I wanted to direct it myself.”

The fourth film in the Toy Story franchise opens June 2017 and is directed by John Lasseter. Rom-com writing team Rashida Jones and Will McCormack are helping pen the film’s screenplay.

Disney’s D23 Expo is happening in Anaheim, California just across the street from Disneyland. Stay tuned for more coverage throughout the weekend!
