The BBC can’t keep Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May apart. The Top Gear hosts are doing a new car show, exclusively for Amazon Prime.
Earlier this year, Jeremy Clarkson was fired from BBC’s Top Gear, after verbally and physically attacking a producer on the series.

The broadcasting corporation stated that they would continue the series, but Clarkson’s co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May resisted the BBC’s attempts to lure them to stay.
Although the BBC was considering a new guest host format to fill the third presenter spot, Hammond and May would evidently rather stick with Clarkson than try to make Top Gear work without him — despite the massive pay raise the BBC was luring them in with.
The long-time trio has officially signed a deal with Amazon Prime, to create an “all-new car show” (read: Top Gear 2.0). It’ll be produced by Andy Wilman, who resigned as executive producer of Top Gear after Clarkson’s firing.

In the press release announcing the new series, Jeremy Clarkson says, “I feel like I’ve climbed out of a bi-plane and into a spaceship.”

It was previously reported that Hammond, May and Clarkson were in talks with both ITV and Netflix for a new car series, which would rival BBC’s Top Gear.
Production will begin shortly, and the brand new car show is scheduled to hit exclusively on Amazon Prime in 2016!
