Doctor Who season 8, episode 9 “Flatline” airs tonight and not only are things getting 2D but the TARDIS gets toy sized!

Last week on ‘Doctor Who’

The Doctor and Clara took a ride on the Oriental Express in space, where they ran into a monster unlike any they’ve met before: a mummy that only its victim could see. The mummy gave its victims 66 seconds to live from the moment they first laid eyes on it, and when the Doctor figured it out they manage to get away unscathed.

Oh, and the train ride was supposed to be Clara’s last hoorah with the Doctor, but at the end of the episode she realized she doesn’t want to stop, and decided to keep on going. So where do they go next? Earth – to deal with a completely different type of monster.

What’s going on tonight?

“Separated from the Doctor, Clara discovers a new menace from another dimension. But how do you hide when even the walls are no protection? With people to save and the Doctor trapped, Clara comes up against an enemy that exists beyond human perception.”

Check out the preview for tonight’s Doctor Who episode:

We’ve even got a few clips for you to check out. In the first clip the TARDIS somehow got toy sized, and the Doctor is trapped inside! He’s still people-sized, funnily enough, and gives Clara his psychic paper and sonic screwdriver since she’s not trapped inside the toy TARDIS.

In the second clip, Clara and a friend get trapped inside a room facing the monster(s) of the episode. Anything they touch gets turned into 2D, so now they have to find a way out or become pancakes.
