After last week’s heartbreaker for fans waiting for that epic Delena reunion, will The Vampire Diaries season 6, episode 7 renew hope?
So, we all thought it would just be a matter of convincing Elena to want her memories back, but now that Alaric has re-entered the world of the living and not blood-drinking, she and Damon might have to get creative. Surely there is some way to break the magic binding her mind, heck, Caroline’s dad used to resist compulsion all the time! (And he was human.)
We are reasonably certain that somehow, someway, Elena will regain her love for Damon, but in the meantime, what exactly are we gonna do about this Tripp fellow and his crusade to rid the world of vampires, especially now that he knows that Caroline is probably one of them?
Hopefully we will get an idea soon, cause watching Tripp hunt our heroes down one by one is going to be entirely too traumatic. Also, how long will Matt be able to hide his friends away before Tripp finally does permanent damage?

Oh how we missed our precious Dalaric scenes. This is one pair that we just cannot get enough of. Check out Damon messing around with Alaric’s medical devices and a little witty banter in a clip from tonight’s episode.
This clip is a little less funny, but a lot more revealing as to what might be going on plot-wise. Oh, and Tripp finds out that Matt isn’t exactly the loyal minion he may have thought.
