Last week’s The Originals season 2, episode 6 set the stage for even more dissension as Klaus found Elijah still in the midst of Esther’s magical ministrations, and Oliver sacrificed himself for the good of the wolves.
Whether or not Oliver’s sacrifice was a symbolic one, we hope that the wolves are tired of mindlessly following the witches’ every command, especially after the things they’ve pulled recently. After all, they have two very strong leaders to rally behind, and are probably the biggest force alive in the Quarter. Maybe it’s time for them to control their own destinies.
