Tonight on The Originals, Davina and Mikael head to the woods while turmoil continues to churn in the Quarter. Never a dull moment for the Mikaelson family.

Last week showed us that Esther isn’t out to kill her children this time, but merely to turn them back to a mortal version of themselves, thereby releasing her from the burden of guilt she’s been carrying for a very long time. Good luck with that one, Esther. It’d be hard to imagine Klaus or Elijah signing up to be mortal after all the enemies they’ve found over the years.

This week the Mikaelson brothers are trying to use Cami to find Davina and Mikael, while Esther continues scheming to fix her biggest mistake. Check out a couple of sneak peeks at the episode and a preview of what Julie and Michael have in store for us when The Originals airs tonight.

Sneak Peeks

The first sneak peek at tonight’s episode, “Live and Let Die,” shows Mikael training Davina in the woods. He certainly has his work cut out for him, as Davina has always used her magic to fight her battles… not her fists.

The second is yet another meeting of the minds with Davina and Mikael discussing who exactly is in charge, and who will be their undoing. Pretty much par for the course with this pair.

Producer’s Preview

Julie Plec and Michael Narducci also weighed in on the heightened stakes this week’s episode brings. Now that Klaus and Elijah are aware of Mikael and the looming threat of when Davina will unleash him on them, they are more anxious than ever to put that threat down before it can harm them.

We also learn that Esther has plans to get a werewolf army on her side, and this one would be young.
