On the last episode of Gotham, Oswald managed to get a job working at Maroni’s restaurant. He has to kill a few people for it, and it’s only dish washing. But it was Oswald’s best shot to get back into the organized crime ring.

Harvey and Gordon investigated someone using weather balloons as a weapon. Even worse, he started targeting corrupt police. They managed to track the balloonman down to a store where the balloons were stolen.

But when they found him, the thief confessed he sold them. When Gordon found his name in a victim’s pocket he realized the balloonman was actually Davis Lamont.

Montoya and Allen wanted to find out where Oswald went. So they went to see who Mooney. She was all to eager to tell them that Gordon was ordered to shoot Oswald. Montoya also took the opportunity to tell Barbara she thinks Gordon is up to no good.

When Barbara asked Gordon about it later, she came to the decision he wouldn’t murder anyone. She was right, because Oswald knocked on their door.
