Elementary season 3, episode 1, “Enough Nemesis to Go Around,” premieres tonight on CBS. Watch clips and get an inside look at Sherlock’s new side kick, Kitty Winter!

Tonight’s season premiere of Elementary will pick up in New York roughly eight months after Sherlock took MI6 up on an offer for a job at the close of season 2. With Sherlock gone, Joan has made moves to establish her own life out of the shadow of her partner. But what will his return mean for those he left behind?

For starters the detective is not returning to New York alone. While in London, Sherlock was introduced to Kitty Winter who, like Watson, is looking for a new start and happens to fall under the care of Sherlock Holmes. You can bet the Sherlock will be kept at arms length from the partner he turned his back on, but how long will he be able to keep his nose out of her investigations? Judging by the preview, not for very long.
