AHS: Freak Show episode 5, “Pink Cupcakes,” airs tonight on FX. Find out what Dell and Desiree’s past reveals and what Gloria plans to do with the dead maid in her home.

After last week’s slower expository episode, tonight’s AHS: Freak Show episode 5, “Pink Cupcakes,” will pick up the pace. Tonight alone we will explore Dell and Desiree’s past, offer up Matt Bomer as sacrifice to Dandy, watch Stanley work his way into the camp, and watch as Jimmy and Maggie become better acquainted.

Last week Twisty bid farewell to his earthly presence after revealing his tale of woe and pain to Edward Mordrake. Jimmy and Maggie are welcomed into the town as heros and for the first time the freaks and the townies mingle respectfully outside of the tent. Although Twisty may be out of the picture, for now, Dandy Mott wastes no time picking up the mask and becoming an even creepier threat to the small town of Jupiter, Florida.

Elsa Mars took her turn in the Mordrake confessional, revealing the tragic tale that lead to the loss of her legs and the ruin of her career. The troupe leader’s love for the spotlight casts a dark shadow over everything else she claims to have concern for.

Gloria is going to stumble upon Dandy’s latest hobby and needs to make a decision about how to handle the situation. For one thing the blood of her former maid is ruining her pristine floors and secondly Dandy’s behavior is not up to snuff with the image high society should be presenting. This week it looks as though Matt Bomer will be the latest victim!

Dell and Desiree were noticeably absent from Mordrake’s Halloween inquisition the past two weeks, but this week they too will have their chance to reveal what tales plague their past and present. Meanwhile, Stanley worms his way into the troupe claiming to be the Hollywood agent Elsa has been awaiting. But with success clouding her vision, Stanley begins to work his charm with the goal of capturing the freaks for profit.
