Our coaches have some tough choices to make this week, as they narrow down their teams in preparation for the knockout rounds.
The Voice battle rounds continue tonight, as the coaches must choose between talented contestants after some incredible battle performances. But not all is lost for the “losing” contestants, and they still have the chance to be stolen by another coach, and continue on in the competition as part of a new team.
The coaches are running low on steals, and they are usually looking to fill specific spots on their teams. Unfortunately, this often means that some very talented contestants go home, just because they weren’t the right fit for anyone’s team.

The coaches are not wasting the last of their steals, but they’re not letting the good contestants go either, as Gwen demonstrates in this clip, where she makes Adam’s job just a little bit harder.
The Voice battles are also a very emotional experience for the contestants, who are putting their dreams and careers on the line to try and change their lives and make their musical dreams come true. In one rehearsal, Pharrell and Alicia comfort a tearful contestant and help her connect with her performance.
