Toni Collette will be teaming up with Netflix and BBC for her next television role.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Toni Collette has officially been cast in Netflix and the BBC’s Wanderlust.

Wanderlust, which was created by playwright Nick Payne is a six-part series that tells the story of a multi-generational family. At the head of the family is therapist Joy Richards (Collette), who is trying to work things out with her husband after their relationship loses its spark following a cycling accident.

In a statement following her casting announcement, the Emmy Award-winning actress revealed that she’s over the moon to be working with Payne on the forthcoming drama.

“I am honored and thrilled to work with Nick Payne’s wonderful words on Wanderlust. It is an authentic and revolutionary story about relationships, sex, love and all the things we really care about. I could not be more excited,” said Collette.

Meanwhile, Payne echoed Collette’s sentiments, revealing that he’s especially excited to be working with such a phenomenal cast, which includes the United States of Tara at the forefront.

“I’m over the moon to be working with Drama Republic, BBC and Netflix,” said Payne in a statement. “And the cast — what a galaxy of talent. Toni Collette is an astronomically adept performer, and someone I’ve long admired.”

Other actors slated to star opposite Toni Collette are Steve Mackintosh (Luther), Zawe Ashton (Fresh Meat), and Royce Pierreson (Line of Duty).

Directed by Luke Snellin, Wanderlust is currently filming in Manchester, England. Once filming has wrapped, The Wrap reports that the series will debut in the U.K. on BBC One. Meanwhile, Netflix will distribute the series to the rest of the world.

There’s no word yet on when the series will officially premiere, but we’ll be sure to let you know once dates are announced!
