Tom Hiddleston may be heading to Disney+ for Loki, but that isn’t the only streaming service TV show he’ll be headlining in the near future.

Tom Hiddleston is certainly keeping himself busy.

Everyone’s favorite MCU villain/antihero is mostly known for being a movie star, but like many MCU minor characters, will be heading to new streamer Disney+ to star in his own TV series, Loki.

However, Disney+ isn’t the only streaming service that will feature the actor in the years to come. According to Deadline, Tom Hiddleston has been tapped to star in the political thriller White Stork.

Billed as a political thriller about the paradox of truth in a post-truth world, White Stork will see Hiddleston play James Cooper, a man who is selected to run for a seat in British Parliament. Things seem to be going well until Asher Millan, a consultant sent to vet him for the process, quickly uncovers potentially damaging secrets that have long been buried deep in James’ past. These secrets threaten to blow everything apart — his career, his marriage, even the powerful people backing his campaign.

The series was created by Christopher Dunlop and will be directed by Kristoffer Nyholm, whose past works include the 2017 series Taboo and the 2018 film The Vanishing starring Gerard Butler. The project hails from Eleven, which is the same company behind the hit Netflix series Sex Education, which recently premiered its second season on the streaming service.

Since he made his debut as Loki in 2011’s Thor, Tom Hiddleston has mostly stuck to making movies, though not exclusively. He played Prince Hal/Henry V in 2012’s The Hollow Crown mini-series, which adaptated Shakespeare’s Richard II, Henry IV: Parts 1 and 2, and Henry V, and received an Emmy nomination and a Golden Globe win for his portrayal of Jonathan Pine in AMC’s British limited series The Night Manager. White Stork will be mark his return to television since that win.
