Tom Baker, the longest running Doctor in Doctor Who history, features in a new video. Your guess is as good as ours as to what is up.

The video features not only Tom Baker’s voice, but it also highlights the voices of his companions Sarah Jane Smith, K-9, and (we think but aren’t certain) Leela, and Nyssa.

At the end of the video is the hashtag #thefourth. Currently the hashtag contains no substancial information, just fans using it while citing the video. There is also no comment from Baker on his official website.

Tom Baker is often cited as many fans consummate Doctor. He could be funny, awkward, charming, and brave all within an instant. His Doctor was the one known for his addiction to jelly babies. He ate them constantly and offered them to others at the most inappropriate of times.

Just this weekend, it was announced that Tom Baker will be participating in the official Doctor Who Convention that will take place at the London ExCel Centre November 22-24, 2013. Tom Baker will be appearing alongside other classic Doctors Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker in a panel called Regenerations.

Hopefully, this cryptic new video is something to do with either a new set of 4th Doctor DVD’s hitting the market, or perhaps tied into a 50th anniversary event. Right now your guess is as good as ours.

What is your crack theory regarding the video?
