To All the Boys P.S. I Still Love You, the sequel to the incredibly successful 2018 romantic comedy, just released its first trailer!

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was a smash hit for Netflix. Based on the novel of the same name by Jenny Han, the movie quickly became one of our 2018 rom-com obsessions, and we finally get to return to this wonderful universe in a highly anticipated sequel.

To All the Boys P.S. I Still Love You starts out with Lara Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter (Noah Centineo) taking their romance from the realm of pretend into the real world. And while all things seem to look like they’re going beautifully between the two, things get complicated when another one of the recipients of Lara Jean’s love letters shows up.

There is a lot to unpack in this trailer for To All the Boys P.S. I Still Love You. First off, it is absolutely heart-warming to see Lara Jean and Peter fully step into their relationship together.

They are so adorable together, and they seem to make each other so happy. But even though we love the two of them together so much, even we can’t help but wonder when John Ambrose McClaren enters the picture.

John is played by the utterly delightful Jordan Fisher. You might recognize Fisher from the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars (which he and his partner Lindsay Arnold won), Rent: Live, or on Broadway as John Laurens and Philip Schuyler in Hamilton.

And honestly, they couldn’t have picked a better actor to play John Ambrose McClaren in the To All the Boys sequel. John is Lara Jean’s middle school crush, and it seems that her affections for him might have been more reciprocated than she realized.

So while she’s incredibly happy in her romance with Peter, when one of her first loves comes back into her life, will it change how Lara Jean feels? Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until To All the Boys P.S. I Still Love You releases on Netflix.

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too much longer. To All The Boys P.S. I Still Love You premieres on the streamer on February 12.
