Good news, Titans fans! The grounded and gritty superhero team-up show has been renewed for a third season at DC Universe.

DC Universe’s Titans is a gritty and grounded superhero show that offered fans a different take on the genre than the CW’s current offerings.

Though DC Universe — like other streaming sites — doesn’t release viewer numbers, the fledgling streamer was confident enough in its very first live-action TV show to renew Titans for a second season, ahead of even its series premiere.

Titans will now be wrapping up its second season in three weeks on November 29th, but fans fortunately won’t have to wait with bated breath to see if they’ll be getting a third one.

DC Universe announced today on Twitter that it has officially renewed Titans for a third season, even letting us know that the show would be coming out sometime in 2020.

Check out the announcement photo below, which coincidentally features the colors of the one leading superhero we have yet to see in his new costume.

In season two, following the aftermath of their encounter with Trigon, Dick reforms the Titans. Under his supervision in their new home at Titans Tower, Rachel, Gar, and Jason Todd (new series regular Curran Walters), train together to hone their hero abilities and work together as a team.

They are joined by Hank Hall and Dawn Granger, aka Hawk and Dove (new series regulars Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly), and Donna Troy, aka Wonder Girl (new series regular Conor Leslie).

Although these original Titans attempt to transition into a regular life, when old enemies resurface, everyone must come together to take care of unfinished business.

And, as this family of old and new Titans — including Conner Kent (new series regular, Joshua Orpin) and Rose Wilson (new series regular, Chelsea Zhang) — learn to co-exist, the arrival of Deathstroke (new series regular, Esai Morales) brings to light the sins of the old Titans, which threaten to tear this new Titans family apart once more.

No word yet on which new faces will be joining the team for the third season, but given the amount of new characters in the second season, we’re sure to see at least a few new faces in the show.
