Two decades have passed since Titanic first hit theaters and now, fans who’ve never let go will get the chance to relive the magic of the movie on the silver screen once more!

As part of the 20th anniversary of Titanic, everyone’s favorite tragic love story starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio is officially heading back to movie theaters the first week of December.

Director James Cameron was on hand to make the exciting announcement to fans via Titanic’s official Twitter account in the form of a video message.

“Never let go. For a limited time only, relive the magic of #Titanic in stunning @Dolby Vision HDR exclusively at @AMCTheatres starting 12/1,” tweeted the official movie account along with Cameron’s message.

In the video, Cameron recounts how special it was to remaster the blockbuster hit in Dolby Vision stating that “it was like seeing it for the first time.”

“I now want to invite you to see Titanic in a Dolby cinema at AMC,” continued the director.

The trailer also sheds light on some important information for fans looking to relive the magic on the big screen. First up, there will be both 2D and 3D showings of the film when it returns to the silver screen. Second, and most importantly, fans looking to experience Titanic in theaters will have to move quickly.

As exciting as the rerelease sounds, the film will only be back in AMC Theaters for one week.
