Actress Tisha Campbell will soon be starring opposite Lucy Liu in an upcoming untitled comedy coming down the pipeline at ABC.

According to Deadline, My Wife and Kids vet Tisha Campbell has officially scored the co-lead role in ABC’s new workplace comedy.

The comedy pilot, which doesn’t yet have a name, also stars Lucy Liu, who plays a diva boss named Devin. Though Devin initially has zero sympathy for working parents, she starts singing a different tune when she adopts a baby of her own.

Meanwhile, Tisha Campbell plays Devin’s long time assistant Annie, who’s just about had enough of her boss. Annie’s so fed up, she’s about to call it quits, but eventually decides to stay after Devin adopts her baby and begs Annie (a happily married mother of two) to stay and share her parenting expertise with her.

Others who’ve also been cast in the untitled workplace comedy include Hayes MacArthur and Mapleworth Murders alum Hayley Magnus.

Magnus is set to take on the role of another co-worker named Missy who’s described as “quirky and affable,” and as someone who “often says things that are a little off.”

Behind the camera, the workplace comedy hails from Better With You creator Shana Goldberg-Meehan, who serves as writer and executive producer one the project. Meanwhile, Speechless vet Christine Gernon is set to serve as director on the series.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect the untitled workplace comedy to debut via ABC.
