Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are teaming up once again, and this time it will be for the comedy film The Nest.

Deadline is reporting that Amy Poehler is in final negotiations to star alongside Tina Fey in The Nest, a film from Universal. Fey signed on to star in the film a little over a year ago.

In the film, Fey and Poehler will star as sisters who find out that their childhood home is being put up for sale. They come back home for one wild last weekend in the house bonding and feuding, and in the process they finally grow up.

Fey and Poehler previously starred on screen together in Baby Mama. While it did okay critically and financially, the film was far from a hit. The expectations are obviously a lot higher for this comedy, especially after consecutive years of Fey and Poehler co-hosting an awards show better than anyone.

The Nest will be directed by Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore. Although he had been previously only known for directing broadway musicals, Moore made an entrance with Pitch Perfect that made the world take note. The surprising hit made $113 million at the worldwide box office, something that led to Pitch Perfect 2 being prepped for a May 15, 2015 release date. Moore will hand directorial duties to Elizabeth Banks.

The script for The Nest was written by longtime Saturday Night Live writer Paula Pell. With Fey and Poehler’s SNL roots, Pell is an obvious writer for them to turn to for a project. More than most comedies, a script from Pell with Fey and Poehler starring sounds hilarious.
