“I personally would like to win Best Picture. Just me, as a person, winning Best Picture. It would be unprecendented, especially because I didn’t make a movie this year.”

So jokes Tina Fey in a fantastic new interview, documentary style, released to promote their upcoming stint hosting the Golden Globes on Sunday, January 13. They further prove that even a boring topic like how excited they are to host the prestigious awards ceremony can be turned into a funny bit.

In recent weeks two video promos have been released featuring the duo: first we saw them putting on their best British accents, then they told us they’d be slightly ghetto in their hosting style.

Not only will they host, but they are also Golden Globe nominees. Poehler and Fey were both nominated in the Best Actress in a Television Comedy or Musical category for their roles in Parks & Rec and 30 Rock respectively. They are up against Lena Dunham in Girls, Julia-Louis Dreyfus’ Veep, and Zooey Deschanel in New Girl. Fey’s 30 Rock co-star Alec Baldwin was nominated in the Best Actor category and will compete against Don Cheadle (House of Lies), Louis C.K. (Louie), Matt LeBlanc (Episodes), and Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory).

The Golden Globe nominees were announced last month. Lincoln led the pack with seven nods while Django Unchained and Argo each scored five. On the television side, Mad Men‘s chance at a Best Television Globe in Drama was scratched as newcomer The Newsroom appeared to take its place on the list. The Aaron Sorkin show will go up against Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, and Homeland.
