Time Between Us, the debut novel from Tamara Ireland Stone, has been optioned by CBS Films. The book will be published by Disney Hyperion in the Fall of 2012.
Young adult tome follows a teenage boy who was born with the gift and the curse of being a time-traveler. He falls in love with a girl from another time and the two must conquer obstacles of reality and time to find happiness.
Described as being in the vein of “The Notebook,” the original romantic tale features a set of rules that govern the time-travel process for the characters.
Originally titled “Mobius,” Stone’s book sold to Disney/Hyperion for six figures in March.
