Looks like Tiger King 2 is officially on the way over at Netflix!

On Thursday (September 23), Netflix announced that fans who went nuts over the likes of Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin, and the world of big cats, can officially look forward to sinking their teeth into Tiger King 2.

The sequel to the streamer’s quarantine true crime documentary hit is set to hit Netflix sometime later this year.

The streamer didn’t specify what the second part will focus on specifically, but it did promise that viewers can look forward to “more madness and mayhem.”

That Netflix has been quietly working on a sequel to Tiger King shouldn’t come as much of a surprise even if it seems as though the hype surrounding the original true crime docuseries seems to have been left behind in 2020.

The global hit, which first premiered in March 2020, attracted 64 million households in its first four weeks on the platform.

Behind the camera, Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin are set to return to serve as directors on Tiger King 2.

Executive producers on the project include Goode, Chaiklin, Chris Smith, and Fisher Stevens.

Netflix has yet to announce a specific release date for the sequel, but fans can expect to see the second installment to debut sometime later this year in 2021.
