Marvel has announced that an otherworldly warrior from Thor will be appearing in an upcoming episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – and dropped “clairvoyant” hints about future.
At the Television Critics Association today, Marvel Studios let slip the exciting news that none other than Jaimie Alexander will be appearing in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 15.
Alexander will reprise her role as Thor’s unflappable and unbeatable companion Lady Sif in the upcoming episode. Alexander has appeared as Sif in Thor and last year’s sequel Thor: The Dark World. Sif’s quiet strength and profound badassery have made her a favorite among fans of the franchise, and it will be incredibly exciting to see how the warrior goddess interacts with the very-human Team Coulson.
According to Marvel, Lady Sif will “come to Earth with a very specific mission” in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 15. Though there is no way to speculate on the specifics of this “specific mission,” we have to hope that Jaimie Alexander’s character will have time to get acquainted with the team; any interaction with Fitz and Simmons is especially certain to provide hilarity.
Also in their TCA panel, Marvel revealed an exciting detail about how the show will handle the mysterious Clairvoyant.

The Clairvoyant has rapidly developed into a very palpable menace on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Though the character has not yet been seen on the show, his influence appears to connect many of the villains introduced in the first season, and we anticipate that his checkmate move is rapidly approaching.
Though the show is on hiatus until next month, the synopsis for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 13, “T.R.A.C.K.S.,” has recently been released.
Hot on the trail of the Clairvoyant, Coulson and his team board a mystery train that seems to be headed for certain death.
“T.R.A.C.K.S.” will feature another exciting guest star from the Marvel universe, as Stan Lee will appear in what he has called “a big role” in the episode.
