Thor: Ragnarok has picked up a new screenwriter, Stephany Folsom, who’ll take over from Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Stephany Folsom, whose most high-profile project is the 2013 Blacklist script 1969: A Space Odyssey or How Kubrick Learned to Stop Worrying and Land on the Moon, has joined the Marvel family.

Marvel has tasked her with the script for Thor: Ragnarok; Folsom is the third writer so far, taking over from Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle.

Ragnarok, the third movie in the Thor saga, will be directed by Flight of the Conchords‘ Taika Waititi. Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor, and will be joined by Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk. It’s like Captain America and Iron Man in Civil War, except Thor and Hulk will actually be fighting on the same side!

Jaimie Alexander also returns as Lady Sif, who will reportedly have a bigger role in the narrative this time around.

Folson, who is also penning the somewhat controversial Disney movie The Princess of North Sudan, is the third female writer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first was Nicole Perlman, who worked with James Gunn on Guardians of the Galaxy; Perlman is returning to co-write Captain Marvel with another female screenwriter, Meg LeFauve (Inside Out).

Next up in the MCU line-up is Captain America: Civil War, which comes out May 6, 2016. Both Thor and Hulk are suspiciously absent from the third and final film in the Steve Rogers trilogy, and we can’t wait to find out what they’ve been up to.

Thor: Ragnarok is set for a November 3, 2017 release.
