Thor: Love and Thunder has found its newest cast member in none other than Russell Crowe.

According to Deadline, actor Russell Crowe is the latest to join the cast of the fourth Thor movie.

Unfortunately, Marvel fans itching to know more about who Crowe will play in Thor: Love and Thunder will have to sit tight. Details with regards to Crowe’s character in the fourth installment of the superhero franchise have not yet been specified.

Russell Crowe is the latest to join the cast of the film, which finds Academy Award winner Taika Waititi returning to serve as director.

For starters, Christian Bale is on board to take on the role of the film’s main villain, Gorr the God Butcher.

Meanwhile, Jaimie Alexander is set to make her grand return to the franchise, stepping back into the role of Sif, Thor’s friend and fellow Asgardian warrior.

Fellow Avengers vets Chris Pratt and Karen Gillan are also set to make an appearance in the fourth Thor flick as Star Lord and Nebula.

Finally, actors Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth, and Sam Neill have all signed on to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder. They’ll once again be reprising their Ragnarok roles as the Asgardian actors playing stage versions of Loki, Thor, and Odin, respectively.

All of the aforementioned cast members join stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson who will star in the film as Thor, Jane, and Valkyrie.

Thor: Love and Thunder is currently filming out in Australia.
