Wet Hot American Summer filmmakers David Wain and Michael Showalter have joined forces once again. After satirizing the summer camp genre with their previous effort, this time they’ve made They Came Together, a satire of the romantic comedy genre.
Hypable reviewed the film and said “The romantic comedy genre was a perfect target for Wain and Showalter, and they tackled it in a smart, consistently funny way. Filled with laugh out loud moments brought on by good writing and even better acting, They Came Together is one of the funniest comedies of the year.
