Netflix’s adaptation of There’s Someone Inside Your House has found its star and principle cast.

In case you might have missed it, author Stephanie Perkins’ There’s Someone Inside Your House, is about to get the adaptation treatment over at Netflix.

Now, we’re learning more about who will be tasked with bringing the characters from Perkins’ YA thriller to life on the small screen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the online streaming giant has tapped Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists vet Sydney Park, to play main character Makani Young.

In the book, Makani is sent away from her home in Hawaii to live with her grandmother in Nebraska. Things seem to be going alright, that is until the students of her new high school suddenly start dying one by one in a series of gruesome murders.

Others who’ve also joined the cast alongside her include Theodore Pellerin (Boy Erased), Asjha Cooper, Dale Whibley, Jesse LaTourette, Burkely Duffield, and Diego Josef.

It’s currently unclear as to which roles they’ll be playing in the film.

Behind the camera, the adaptation has some heavy hitters attached including Dan Cohen and Shawn Levy (producing via 21 Laps), and Michael Clear and James Wan (producing via Atomic Monster).

Cohen, Levy, and 21 Laps are no strangers to Netflix, where they currently work as producers on Stranger Things. Meanwhile, Wan’s background in horror film entities like The Conjuring and Saw make him a perfect fit for the project.

Directed by Corporate Animals helmer Patrick Brice, and written by Shazam! vet Henry Gayden, There’s Someone Inside Your House is set to start shooting in Vancouver next week.
