With just over two months to go until its release, a new The Wolverine trailer has made its way online. This trailer features another look at Silver Samurai, the film’s villain.
In March, we got the first The Wolverine trailer, and earlier this month, we got a shorter trailer from CinemaCon that gave us our first look at the film’s villain, Silver Samurai.
In the first trailer, it very much so looked like Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine character would be losing his strength throughout the film which had some fans concerned, and rightfully so. This trailer paints a slightly different picture. Though it does look like he gets weakened, he appears to get stronger by the end of the film. As Wolverine is biggest superhero Fox has, it’s only natural to expect he’ll be full force and ready for another sequel by the time the credits drop.
The Wolverine synopsis:
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, THE WOLVERINE finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
