We were told recently to expect the first trailer for The Wolverine before showings of G.I. Joe: Retaliation on March 29th, but director James Mangold took to Twitter today to reveal the trailer’s online release date, as well as when we can expect a sneak peek of the trailer.
The Wolverine seems to be following the latest trend of releasing a trailer for its own upcoming trailer, because according to a tweet from director James Mangold, we can expect the full trailer to come online two days before its theatrical premiere.
A teaser for the teaser will come online via James Mangold’s person Twitter account on March 26th, and we can expect to see the full teaser for the Wolverine on March 27th. You can go ahead and return your tickets to G.I. Joe: Retaliation as of now.
Clarity for all asking: I will tweet a peek (a “tweazer”) on 26th. Full teaser online on 27th. 3D and 2D in theaters on the big screen 29th.

Although news that we’ll get the trailer sooner than we had anticipated is exciting enough, a few more images from the film have surfaced thanks to Total Film (via Slashfilm) of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in what appears to be a snow covered Japan.
