The latest honest trailer tackles Oscar nominated The Wolf of Wall Street, and it’s true to the movie, f*cking true.

Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street is famous for breaking the record for most f-word’s in a movie, and this honest trailer is playing up that aspect.

The Wolf of Wall Street had 506 uses of the word “fuck,” a number that handily beat Spike Lee’s 1999 film Summer of Sam‘s 435 “fucks.”

The popular Screen Junkies YouTube channel is famous for their “Honest Trailer” series, and they’ve made another great one with The Wolf of Wall Street.

Apart from the constant use of the f-word, the video also points out the other funny things in the movie like Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey doing the fist-to-chest pound in front of star Leonardo DiCaprio, something that is even funnier after McConaughey’s win over DiCaprio.

A lot of the buzz surrounding the film’s release was about the fact that it seemingly glorified the rotten behavior by DiCaprio’s Jordan Belfort and the people around him, but as the video points out, that really isn’t the case. The movie asks you to make the moral judgement yourself, but it’s easy to see that the characters are awful people.

The video also points out that the film is distinctly Scorsese in every way. From DiCaprio in the starring role to the kind of characters portrayed to the way It was filmed, there’s no doubt this is another great Scorsese film.

But without a doubt, the funniest part of the entire honest trailer was when they pointed out just how many people have received Oscars while DiCaprio still has not won a single one.
