The Weeknd has got some big plans with regards to his upcoming headlining halftime performance at Super Bowl LV.

Super Bowl LV is right around the corner, which means it’s almost time for The Weeknd to take the stage as part of this year’s Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime show.

The After Hours singer was on hand as part of a press conference for the big event on Thursday (February 4), in which he teased fans with a few details as to what they can expect.

This year’s Super Bowl is likely to be unlike any other due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but it seems as though The Weeknd is doing his best to make the most of his performance given the circumstances.

Specifically, the recording artist spoke a little bit about how they’ve had to get creative when it comes to staging when one reporter in attendance asked about the rumors that the singer’s performance will take place “entirely from the stands.”

“Due to COVID and for the safety of the players and workers, we kind of built the stage within the stadium,” said The Weeknd according to Variety. “We’re also using the field as well, but we wanted to do something that we’ve never done before. But I’m not gonna tell you anything else because you’ll have to watch on Sunday.”

Other artists set to perform as part of Sunday’s big game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida include H.E.R., who will sing the National Anthem, and Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan, who will perform “America the Beautiful.” Miley Cyrus is also set to be on hand for a pregame show.

In addition, those who tune in will also be treated to a poem read by Amanda Gorman, who created quite the social media buzz when she spoke at President Joe Biden’s inauguration last month.

Super Bowl LV kicks off on Sunday, February 7 at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
