AMC has released a pair of new Walking Dead season 6 promotional stills for the upcoming season of the apocalypse drama.

The first is a very simple poster which shortens The Walking Dead title down to TWD, a nod to how big of a cultural phenomena the show has become. Rick is wielding a gun and sporting a bandaid on his head — perhaps a remnant from the big fight at the end of season 5.

AMC seems to know that this poster is a little… underwhelming. Today they also released a new photo from The Walking Dead season 6 which depicts Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Morgan (Lennie James) within Alexandra and participating in a stare-off.

The end of The Walking Dead season 5 depicted Morgan returning to the show in what’s expected to be a full-time capacity. Morgan was seen sporadically during season 5 as he tried to track down Rick, but his interest in getting back with his old friend isn’t going to be all fun and games; Expect Rick and Morgan to be at odds with one another in (at least) the first half of season 6. They’ll be disagreeing over how things should be managed at Alexandria in light of the dramatic events that happened during season 5.

The Walking Dead premieres this October on AMC. If you can’t wait, AMC is currently airing the show’s spinoff Fear the Walking Dead Sundays at 9 p.m. eastern / pacific. Four episodes remain!
