A bunch of behind-the-scenes footage from The Walking Dead season 4 will be unveiled on the 4th of July weekend when Kevin Smith takes us to the show’s set.

Starting Thursday, July 4 at 1 p.m. eastern/pacific on AMC, The Walking Dead season 1 will air in its entirety. During commercial breaks, Comic Book Men executive producer Kevin Smith (Clerks) will speak to you from The Walking Dead season 4 set where he’ll be talking to the cast and crew and sharing behind-the-scenes footage.

The Walking Dead marathon continues on Friday, July 5 with season 2 and Saturday, July 6 with season 3. The latest season will marathon on Sunday, July 7 too.

This will be one of our first looks at The Walking Dead season 4. So far the only official photo we’ve seen from the season is one of Rick walking through the woods with a zombie on his tail.

The Walking Dead’s cast and crew will appear at San Diego Comic-Con 2013 later in July to speak with fans and preview additional footage. We also expect to get a premiere date at that time. The show is expected to return in October.

The series stars Andrew Lincoln, David Morrissey, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Emily Kinney.

If the season 4 behind-the-scenes footage is shared online, we’ll be sure to bring it to you!
